Are Home Additions Tax Deductible?

Hi there,

I was thinking of taking the time this year to start the renovation process on my home. I have heard many good things about the work that your company completes in terms of home additions.

I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding whether or not home additions are tax deductible?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for your question.

As far as we know, and we are not tax specialists, the expenses for the home renovations are not tax deductible. But, there is still HST rebate in the significant amount of up to $16,000.

We provide even this service through our sub-contractor specialized in rebates.

I hope this helps!
